Another vintage day, hearkening back to my childhood! Who can forget buying Otter Pops at the grocery (before the day someone got clever enough to freeze them in the store), and then pestering your parents every 15 minutes asking if they were frozen yet. I think Otter Pops followed the same "A watched pot never boils" concept, only freezing instead of boiling. Eventually, your parents would relent and let you eat one that was barely frozen and you ended up drinking it, but it was still good. Older, and less wiser, I chose the blue raspberry flavor and, to get the brain freeze, took a big bite out of the top and allowed it to just sit on my tongue pressed against the roof of my mouth. It didn't take long for that familiar feeling to start coming to my brain, and boom...brain freeze #3!
