I love baseball! My father got me started collecting baseball cards when I was very young, and so I learned all the players and then started watching games. I've been the many MLB stadiums, but there is always something fun and special about going to a minor league baseball game. I had the distinct privilege of throwing out the first pitch at a Birmingham Barons game on Thursday night and at a Mobile Bay Bears game tonight, while conducting Brain Freeze Challenges at both games. It is such a laid back, relaxed atmosphere, but there is also some very good baseball being played. And, there are concessions! I couldn't resist the percolating slushy machine located right across from our display table at the stadium, and when I came across a gentleman who was hesitant to take the Brain Freeze Challenge, I had to dive in to my slushy and take the challenge with him! On a hot August afternoon in the humidity of Mobile, nothing like a good ole fashioned brain freeze with a friend at a baseball game!
